Torrens Title Subdivision DA for Existing Dual Occupancy | Blacktown Council
Our client is seeking to subdivide their existing dual occupancy home, originally approved under a 2005 DA, so they can sell one dwelling as a separately titled property. Initially, the client was knocked back by Council during a verbal communication, as the property did not appear to meet the relevant subdivision criteria.
Genesis engaged an experienced town planning team who conducted detailed investigations and confirmed that a Torrens title subdivision is applicable for the home. The project involves lodgment of a Development Application (DA) to Blacktown City Council for Torrens title subdivision of the existing attached dual occupancy dwelling.
Genesis is managing the overall project, acting as the client liaison and project manager. Our responsibilities include appointing and coordinating with the town planner, overseeing the preparation and submission of all required documentation, responding to Council Requests for Information (RFIs) on behalf of the client, and ensuring timely and efficient delivery of the DA process.
Our Service: Project Management
Phase: 2, documentation in preparation.
